*APY (ANNUAL PERCENTAGE YIELD). The Credit Union is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration. Must be at least 13 years to open a checking account. Visit the iPlus Teen Checking account.

¹Minimum opening balance of $25.00. To receive the higher APY on balances up to $20,000 you must meet the monthly requirements. Apex Checking (High-Yield Checking), the account must be enrolled in eStatements, must have a payroll, social security, or pension direct deposit each month, at least one log-in to the CCCU online banking system each month and a minimum of 10 debit transactions each month (ATM transactions do not count toward the debit card requirements). The 10 debit transactions must be posted to the account prior to the last business day of each month regardless of when the transaction was conducted. All account requirements must be met by the last day of the month to qualify for the higher rate. The cycle for each month begins on the first day of each month. View current Savings Rates.

²A $500.00 average daily balance is required to earn monthly dividends. Dividends will be compounded and credited monthly. For dividend bearing accounts, the Dividend Period begins on the first calendar day of the period and ends on the last calendar day of the period.

³This is a second-chance checking account. The monthly fee is $8.95 and requires direct deposit and eStatements. If there are no NSFs or Overdraft for 12 consecutive months since account opening, please contact the Credit Union to switch the account to the Free Plus Interest Checking Account.

For the Holiday Club account, the entire balance will be paid to you by check or transferred to another account of yours on or after November 1 and the Club account will remain open. If you make a withdrawal before November 1, the Club account will be closed, and you will not be eligible for another Club account for one year. You may make transfers or withdrawals in the first seven (7) days after the Club account is opened without restriction.

Dividends will be compounded and credited monthly. For dividend bearing accounts, the Dividend Period begins on the first calendar day of the period and ends on the last calendar day of the period.

¹Cub accounts are only available for members 10 years old or younger. When the account owner reaches 11 years old, the Cub account will be automatically converted to an iPlus account.

²Cubby Certificate Features. Cubby Certificates are only available for members 10 years old or younger who also have a Cub Account. Estatements are required for Cubby Certificates. Only one Cubby Certificate is available for each member. Deposits will be permitted until the $500.00 maximum balance; after that, no new funds may be deposited to a Cubby Certificate. The maximum balance for Cubby Certificate is $500; no deposits in excess of that amount will be permitted. The rate applies only to deposits of new funds; it does not apply to transfers of funds from another account within the credit union. Funds deposited from within the credit union will earn the same dividend rate and APY as Cub Account. Cubby Certificate balances of up to $500 will earn the dividend rate for the 12-month Certificate term. After the 12-month term the Certificate will be transferred into the Cub Account and will earn the same dividend rate and APY that applies to Cub Accounts. Dividends earned on the Cubby Certificate will be deposited into the Cub Account.

*APY (ANNUAL PERCENTAGE YIELD). After your account is opened, you may not make additional deposits to a Certificate account. Your Certificate account will mature on the maturity date set forth on your Account Receipt or Renewal Notice. We may impose a penalty if you withdraw any of the principal of your Certificate before the maturity date. (1) Amount of Penalty. The amount of the early withdrawal penalty is 90 days dividends calculated on the balance at the time of withdrawal. (2) How the Penalty Works. The penalty is calculated as a forfeiture of part of the dividends that has been or would be earned at the nominal dividend rate on the account. It applies whether or not the dividends have been earned. In other words, if the account has not yet earned enough dividends or if the dividends have already been paid, the penalty will be deducted from the principal. (3) Exceptions to Early Withdrawal Penalties. At our option, we may pay the account before maturity without imposing an early withdrawal penalty under the following circumstances: When an account owner dies or is determined legally incompetent by a court or other body of competent jurisdiction. Certificate accounts are automatically renewable accounts. Automatically renewable accounts will renew for another term upon maturity. You have a grace period of seven (7) days after maturity in which to withdraw funds in the account without being charged an early withdrawal penalty. Your account is nontransferable and nonnegotiable. The funds in your account may not be pledged to secure any obligation of an owner, except obligations with the Credit Union.
