As a valued member of PFCU, your vote on the proposed merger with CCCU is crucial. By voting online by 3:30 pm, December 10, you have the power to shape the future of your credit union.

  • PFCU Board of Directors has called an in-person Special Meeting of the Members of the credit union on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 3 pm.
  • Our proposed merger with CCCU has obtained Federal regulatory approval.

Frequently Asked Questions

To cast your vote, simply enter your account number or Election ID and the last 4-digit of your Social Security Number or Tax ID. The trusted third-party company, CU Ballot, is designed to accurately record your vote while preventing multiple submissions. Your account number can be found at the top of your monthly statement as well as in online banking and mobile banking app.

If a member accidentally mails their ballot and votes online, the third-party conducting the member vote has protocols in place to ensure only the last vote received is counted.

For those with multiple memberships, including personal and business accounts, you have the flexibility to use any account number for online voting. Each member’s vote is unique and counts once, maintaining the integrity of our voting process.

For our members representing legal entities, you have the privilege to vote for both your personal memberships and legal entity (corporation or LLC). We recognize each entity separately, ensuring your voice is heard in every capacity.

Online Voting:
If you have an email address registered with us, keep an eye on your inbox for a special link to our secure online voting portal. It’s a quick and easy way to cast your vote and make your voice heard.

Don’t worry if you don’t receive an email; qualified members can still participate by visiting our website at www.providencecu.org/mergervote. Here, you can vote at any time by December 10 at 3:30 PM PST that’s convenient for you.

Mail Voting:
For qualified members who don’t have an email on file with us, we’ve got you covered too! You’ll receive a paper ballot through the US Mail. Simply fill it out and send it back using the pre-paid postage envelope provided, addressed to CUBallot, our trusted independent third-party company.

If you’d prefer to vote by mail, even if you have an email on file with us, you can request a paper ballot by calling us (888-849-5189) or sending us a secure message.

The special member meeting will be held on December 10, 2024, at Providence Office Park 2 (POP 2), 4400 NE Halsey St, Portland, OR starting at 3 pm PST.

Any PFCU member aged 18 years or over (including business accounts) and the primary accountholder with at least $5 in share savings who is a member in good standing September 1, 2024, is eligible to vote.

We’ll share the results at the conclusion of the Special Member Meeting on December 10, 2024, and shortly after with a press release, member notifications, and other appropriate channels.


Because final results will be tabulated and shared at this meeting, ballots received after the special meeting will not be counted.

No. You can cast your vote online at any time by visiting www.providencecu.org/mergervote or, if you prefer, by mailing in the paper ballot provided to you (only those without an email address on file will receive a paper ballot). For those who enjoy engaging discussions and a sense of community, we warmly invite you to attend the meeting in person. However, please know that your attendance is not a prerequisite for your vote to count.

No. Only those who were PFCU members on or before September 1, 2024, are eligible to vote.

Your vote is completely anonymous, and neither PFCU nor CCCU will have access to the cast ballots. To ensure the integrity of the voting process, CUBallot, the trusted third-party company, will oversee the tallying of votes. They will have limited access to member data solely for the purpose of verifying voting eligibility and certifying the final vote count.

We understand that mishaps can happen, such as losing your paper ballot. But don’t worry, you still have the option to participate in the voting process! You can easily cast your vote online through our secure voting portal at www.providencecu.org/mergervote. It’s quick, secure, and ensures your voice is heard without delay.

If you prefer the traditional method, we’ve got you covered as well. Simply send us a secure message via your online banking or give us a call at (888) 849-5189, Monday to Friday between 7:30 am and 4 pm, to request a new paper ballot. Once you receive your packet from CU Ballot, you can fill it out and mail it directly to them, the trusted third-party company in conducting the vote. They must receive your paper ballot by December 10, 2024.

For those with joint accounts, the primary account holder—the first name listed on the account—has the right to vote. Unfortunately, if you’re only a joint owner without a primary account, you won’t be able to participate in this election.

No. To ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the voting process, we have partnered with CU Ballot, a reputable and trusted third-party company. This means ballots cannot be accepted at our branches or Admin Office. However, we’ve made voting as convenient as possible by providing tablets at our branches for you to cast your vote swiftly and securely.

The voting window is set from October 15 to December 10, 2024, aligning with the Special Member Meeting. Ballots (paper ballots and online) must be received no later than by 3:30 PM PST, December 10. Ballots received after this deadline will not be counted, as the final results will be tabulated and announced at the end of the special member meeting.
