As part of the merger with CCCU, all Visa Credit Card accounts previously maintained with PFCU will be converted to CCCU Visa Credit Card accounts.

The Visa Cardholder Hub will be your go-to resource for important information and updates during this transition. As we transition to your new Visa credit card, here are the important dates and steps to keep in mind to ensure a seamless change from your PFCU card.

  • A new Clear Visa card, with a CCCU logo, will be mailed to you on 3/26/2025 and should arrive within 5-7 business days.
  • Continue using your PFCU card until you receive your new card, which will feature a temporary CCCU logo.
  • If you do not receive the new Visa Clear card by 4/7/2025, please contact us and we will reissue your card as soon as possible.
  • Be sure to destroy your old card when you activate the new one. Your old card will not work starting on 4/8/2025.
  • Your old balance will be transferred to the new card by 4/10/2025. If you have automatic transfers or payments linked to your PFCU card, remember to manually update them to your new Clear Visa card.

Visa Clear Card

Whether you have a Platinum, Classic, or New Beginnings card, your account will most likely transition to our new Visa Clear Card, which features a lower fixed rate, no annual fees, and no balance transfer fees!

It will be mailed on March 26 and will temporarily feature the CCCU logo. Once your new card arrives, you can start using it right away. Just remember to destroy your old card.

Be sure to activate your new card by April 6, as your old card will be deactivated on April 7 at 7 am PST.

Starting in April, your credit card statement will have a fresh new look! Take a look at the sample below to get familiar with the changes.

Please note: You will receive two statements in April:

  1. A final PFCU Visa statement on or after April 10. This is NOT A BILL. It is for your records only to view your transaction history.
  2. Your new CCCU Visa statement will arrive after April 16. This is the bill you need to pay. Please use the payment coupon from your new CCCU Visa statement (not the PFCU Visa statement coupon) when mailing your payment to ensure it is credited to your account correctly.

Your new payment due date will be the 11th of every month.

As part of the merger between Providence Federal Credit Union (PFCU) and Consolidated Community Credit Union (CCCU), CCCU is converting all PFCU Visa Credit Card accounts to CCCU Visa Credit Card accounts.

CCCU credit cards require the use of a specific app, the CCCU Credit Card Control App, which can be downloaded for Android and Apple devices, and allows you to manage your credit cards on the go.
